This part applies to training programs, workshops, roundtable, and events provided by NegotiationWise as Open | Public events only, for avoidance of doubt it does not apply to Programs provided to Corporate, Government and Professional Associations.
NegotiationWise make every effort to ensure that the details of all programs are accurate at the time of publishing. Changes to the program may occur.
Booking is ONLY confirmed once accepted by NegotiationWise, subject to places availability and receipt of payment.
We understand that from time to time you may wish to cancel your registration due to a change in circumstances, please let us know as soon as possible if you are unable to attend the Program. Please note the following cancellation policies apply to all bookings.
You may cancel your booking or send a substitute. Please note that cancellations or substitution must be submitted in writing (e.g. email) to ensure a refund. The refund amount will be determined as below:
- Cancellations received in excess of 30 days prior to the start of the Program are subject to a 35% cancellation charge.
- Cancellations received between 29 and 15 days prior to the start of the Program are subject to a 50% cancellation charge.
- Cancellations received within 14 days of start of the Program including no-shows will NOT be entitled to a refund.
- No refunds will be given to participants who do not attend the Program.
You may send a substitute by giving us written notice at least 2 business days before the start of Program – a small fee to re-print training course materials may apply.
NegotiationWise reserves the right to postpone, re-schedule or cancel the Program due to presenter illness or any other factor beyond the reasonable control of NegotiationWise. In such cases NegotiationWise will refund the registration fee but will not be responsible for any consequential loss/damages or inconvenience of whatsoever nature.
NegotiationWise reserves the right to change its presenters in case of illness or any other factor beyond the control of NegotiationWise.
NegotiationWise reserves the right to change the advertised location of the Program within reasonable distance from the originally advertised venue.
By registering for an Open | Public event you authorise NegotiationWise to record the presentation (which includes any questions or comments by any participant or audience member) in audio or visual format or both. You agree that NegotiationWise is the owner of the copyright and other intellectual property in that recording and that it may use the recording for any purpose it considers appropriate, including publicity, education or other activities, and you waive any moral rights you may have.
If you do not want your photo published or to appear on our website or social media channels, please let us know.
To the extent permitted by law, NegotiationWise, its employees, agents and consultants exclude all liability for any loss or damage claims and expenses including but not limited to legal costs, indirect special or consequential loss or damage (including, but not limited to, negligence) arising out of attending, or using any information from materials supplied at the Programs. In case of any law prohibits the exclusion of such liability, NegotiationWise limits its liability to the re-supply of the Program or refund of booking fee at the absolute discretion of NegotiationWise.
By visiting NegotiationWise, you agree that the laws of the State of Victoria, Commonwealth of Australia, without regard to principles of conflict of laws, will govern these Conditions of Use and any dispute of any sort that might arise between you and NegotiationWise or its associates.
Any dispute relating in any way to your visit to NegotiationWise or to products you purchase through NegotiationWise shall be submitted to confidential arbitration in Victoria, Australia, except that, to the extent you have in any manner violated or threatened to violate NegotiationWise intellectual property rights, NegotiationWise may seek injunctive or other appropriate relief in any state or federal court in the state of Victoria, Australia, and you consent to exclusive jurisdiction and venue in such courts. Arbitration under this agreement shall be conducted under the rules then prevailing of the Australian Centre for International Commercial Arbitration (ACICA). The arbitrators award shall be binding and may be entered as a judgment in any court of competent jurisdiction. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, no arbitration under this Agreement shall be joined to an arbitration involving any other party subject to this Agreement, whether through class arbitration proceedings or otherwise.

We reserve the right to make changes to our site, policies, and these Conditions of Use at any time. If any of these conditions shall be deemed invalid, void, or for any reason unenforceable, that condition shall be deemed severable and shall not affect the validity and enforceability of any remaining condition.
